may be used to induce an IRM into a rock sample
by use of a pulse technique, rock samples
of 1 inch (25.4mm) dia. And up to 1 inch (25.4mm)
long may be subjected to fields up to 10,000
gauss (I.0 T). Because of the use of the pulse
technique, the power requirement is less than
100W, so that the instrument may be used in
hotel rooms. (Total weight: 28kg).
